Transparency matters a great deal to us at Save A Child e.V. That is why we have joined the Initiative Transparente Zivilgesellschaft and the Deutscher Spendenrat. We commit ourselves to making the following information publicly available and to keeping it up to date.

3. Information on tax exemption
Because we promote charitable and ecclesiastical purposes as well as the following non-profit purposes (promotion of youth welfare and promotion of education and religion), our work is exempt from corporation tax under § 5 (1) no. 9 of the German Corporation Tax Act and from trade tax under § 3 no. 6 of the German Trade Tax Act, according to the most recent exemption notice issued to us by the Finanzamt für Körperschaften I, Munich (tax number 143/240/70568) dated 18/07/2023. We are entitled to issue donation receipts. You can find our current exemption notice here.

Our work is sustained by the contributions of many legal entities and individuals. In 2025 there were no donations that made up more than 10% of the total budget.

- Save a Child e.V. points out that no membership or donation advertising is carried out using gifts, benefits or the promise or granting of other advantages.
- Save a Child e.V. points out that it refrains from selling, renting out or exchanging member or donor addresses and from offering or paying commissions, in accordance with the principles laid down by Deutscher Spendenrat e.V. for the solicitation of donations.
- In 2025, €2,650 in donations were forwarded to other organizations.
